I think that's the best remedy. Adding more APCs makes more sense than changing the registration requirements.

I wonder, though, if by "adding" they mean the two months that have two dates...

Yes, I just got the exact same response from them when asking about my EOM4 grade. They probably are getting so many emails asking about this that they need to use a canned response.
