oh, nevermind. it looks like someone sorted it, so that's why the top results have DNMMR

The short of it is - I worked for a company that wanted to pay for it all at once, and then i got distracted.

aaaaah, i see i see.

i paid for FAP through my previous employer way way waaaaaaaaaaay too many years ago, but never did it. Finally started it this year due to the looming March deadline. I did nothing though with the previous purchase and nobody wanted to pay for everything upfront, just the modules. Seems pretty wasteful if someone doesn't get to FA. Sounds like it worked to your advantage possibly since the previous FA seems to have a higher pass rate than the current one.

that would have been weird if i could have paid for it all up front and then gotten the very first FA ever. very weird. i'm surprised they do that.

It wasn't an actuarial firm so my boss wasn't really sure what he was paying for.

Not sure if they still will allow that. I had to repay for the modules bc I got outside the 2 yr limit, but since I'd never accessed IA or FA they let me still have those. I'd have been really pissed though if I got a FA that was based on the old textbooks.

Hoping and praying it works out in my favor!! It was super frustrating to not be able to work with my own freaking Google group I set up.

I repaid a few times. I just had no motivation to do it after switching to a demanding job.

screwed myself because i'm fairly certain it has gotten more difficult to pass over the years.

oh, so you got the old IA too? so weird.

what do you mean by "still will allow that"? it sounds like you just took FA and they gave you the old one, so sounds like they are still doing it based on when you register. i just don't get why.

well, it sucks that you couldn't work with your own google group, but aren't there old google groups that you can look through anyway?

Something happened to the worksheet. The first tab got deleted. Is someone able to restore a previous version?
